Fei Jianjun. 40 years old Chinese man from the village of Maxiang (District Jilin in China), which was cruelly nicknamed "Hippo Man" is about to undergo operations to remove cancer from his nose. He never received any medical treatment for his enormous nose because of poverty, until the hospital has offered him free operation. His nose is the size of a human fist. Fei received a CT scan at a hospital in C hangchun Jilin Province in August 2010.
His condition began with a small sign on the tip of the nose for almost a year ago - but now it covers so much of his face that his eyes were pushed to the side of the head.
Dr. Jianjun Zhang, Jilin Military General Hospital, said Fei suffers a very severe form of cancer called rhinocarcinoma nose, and destined to die within six months, without prompt treatment.
